As you may be aware, Spring is the time for state assessments. Please be sure your child is well rested the night before an assessment and that they eat a well-balanced breafast the day of their assessment.
- 12th grade - No assessment - Seniors do not need to report on April 10.
- 11th grade - SAT on April 10; ACT Workkeys on April 11; MStep Science-Social Studies on April 12
- 10th grade - PSAT 10 on April 10
- 9th grade - PSAT 8/9 on April 10
- 8th grade - MStep on April 10-11
- 7th grade - MStep on May 1-2

Orders will be delivered on Thursday, April 13.
Annual Miss EJ Pageant
The annual scholarship pageant will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 7 p.m. in the community auditorium. Tickets are $8 per person.
Baseball Team Dinner Cancelled
The high school baseball team dinner scheduled for Sunday, April 15 is cancelled due to weather concerns.
Washington DC Trip
Students and parents going on the trip must bring their luggage to the auditorium for check-in on Sunday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. They must arrive by 4 :00 a.m. on Monday to board to bus.
National Honor Society
High School students who have met the requirements will be inducted on Tuesday, April 17 at 6:30 pm in the community auditorium.
There is a half day for students on Friday, April 20 for a teacher inservice. School is dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
Junior Senior Prom
The prom will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 7:30-11 p.m. at The Talcott, 4078 M-75 in Walloon Lake. Tickets are $40 each.
The seniors will go to Cedar Pointe in Ohio on Friday, May 11.
Pre-Participation Sports Evaluations
Free pre-participation sports evaluations (i.e. physicals) will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 5-7 p.m. at the high school. You must bring a physical form, filled out with your information and signed by a parent, to the appointment.
The middle school honors convocation will be held on Monday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. The high school honors convocation will be held on Tuesday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. Both will be in the community auditoirum.
There is a half day for students on Friday, May 25. School is dismissed at 11:30 a.m.
Baccalaureate services will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. in the community auditorium.
The Class of 2018 will graduate on Sunday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Boswell Stadium (behind the high school).
The spring athletic awards will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the community auditorium.
The last day of school is Thursday, June 7. School will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.

EJMHS is collecting Family Fare receipts. Save your receipts every time you shop at any Family Fare and bring them to the school office. Once the school has collected $150,000 in eligible receipts we will earn $1,000 from Family Fare. Thanks for helping out with this program. PLEASE NOTE: The whole receipt is required, please do not cut!

Every time you buy specially-marked Holsum, Sunbeam, Soft 'N Good or Aunt Millie's bakery products we can raise money for our school by participating in Aunt Millie's School Spirit Program. It's so easy. Just save proof-of-purchase (UPCs) with the School Spirit symbol from eligible products and turn them in to the school. For each proof-of-purchase received, Aunt Millie's will donate a nickel to our school.
Box Tops 4 Education
Clip qualifying Box Tops from packages of participating General Mills products and various partner brands. Box Tops can be found on a variety of items like food, cleaning supplies, paper products, school and office supplies. Turn them into the school before the expiration date and we can earn 10 cents each.
