ADVANCE NOTICE OF HERBICIDE TREATMENT . . .

This notice is to be provided whenever a pesticide/herbicide, other than a bait or gel formulation, is to be applied at East Jordan High School. The information will be posted using the methods identified in the annual Advisory to Parents.

Attention: Parents/Guardians of students attending East Jordan Public Schools:

This facility utilizes an Integrated Pest Management approach for pest control, employing non-chemical methods that include sanitation and exclusion to control pests. However, from time to time an herbicide application may be necessary to control weeds.

Please be advised that an herbicide is expected to be applied to control various weeds.

The areas to be treated are:

High School Auditorium entrance

Boswell Stadium Turf (football field, walkway area to stadium, football practice field, spectator area)

The anticipated date of treatment will be July 25, 2008.
